2019 PMP Pals Conference: The Promise of Personalized Medicine
PMP Pals will hold their 2019 annual conference on Saturday, October 12th and Sunday, October 13th in San Diego, California. Dinner on Saturday will be at a location to be determined from 5PM-8PM. The Conference Sunday will be from 9AM-2PM at the Goldberg Auditorium in UCSD’s Moore’s Cancer Center.
The conference will focus on the promise that personalized medicine holds for us all. Medicine is in the midst of exciting change as it begins using new tools that provide vast amounts of information, such as whole genome sequencing, new tools for cellular analysis, and artificial intelligence. Over the coming years researchers and physicians will work together to understand how this information can be used to predict disease, improve treatment outcomes, and cure patients. We’ll have speakers come and discuss some of the breakthroughs being made today.
We’re excited to have Dr. Lowy and the team at UCSD host the event this year. The facilities are amazing and we guarantee the weather will be wonderful!
