We hope this letter finds all of you enjoying time with family, friends and loved ones during this busy holiday season.  This has been a very busy year for PMP Pals connecting with many patients and caregivers around the globe.  We have continued our most popular programs such as Bare Bottom Bears, Get Well Cards, and our Ask Arthur online column.  We have also connected patients and caregivers to each other through our Peer Mentor program; shared information on seeking out the standard of care; and answered PMP-related food questions through our Eat Like a King online forum.  In early October, we once again met in Monterey, Ca. for a lively and informative annual conference.  It was truly moving to meet several new patients grappling with their diagnoses but grateful to have found support through PMP Pals network.  Each of us on the PMP Pals staff is here today only because we ourselves discovered the PMP Pals web site that was started by our founder Gabriella Graham in 1998.

Although we provide support and online services at no charge to appendix cancer/PMP patients and their caregivers, these programs are not free to the PMP Pals Network.  Therefore, we seek your financial support.   Because PMP Pals is a registered California non-profit public benefit corporation and has been determined by the IRS to be an exempt public charity under section 501(c)(3), your donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.  Your financial support will help ensure appendix cancer/PMP patients and their caregivers will continue to find support services and critical information online like they do today.

As we speak to new patients every week, they are immeasurably grateful to have found Pals but continue to say they wish they had found us sooner.  Every day makes a difference in fighting this cancer, so help us get patients to life-saving treatment right away. In the upcoming year, we hope to strengthen our programs and resources to make it easier for patients and caregivers to find the connections and treatment they seek and need.

Our organization is supported by volunteers and through generous donations by Pals like you. With your tax-deductible donation, we can make sure patients receive the same practical information, positive support, and stories of life after diagnosis as they have in the past.  Please let every PMP patient know that PMP Pals has hope for them and that they are not alone, even when fighting this rare cancer.  Thank you so much for being a part of our network.

Hugs,
